GLOSSARY

Clays are primarily aluminum silicate, derived from sandstones and granite.

Aluminum silicate is the primary component of clay however clay contains varying amounts of other minerals and salts, including magnesium, calcium, potassium, dolomite, manganese, phosphorous, copper, iron, sodium and titanium. Each of these elements can affect the texture, color, and specific properties of clay. Green clays tend to have iron and red clays have more copper & silica.

For skin care it’s an ideal ingredient because of its ability to draw out impurities and speed healing, especially for blemishes. Clay’s ability to draw toxins, balance the skin, absorb excess oil, moisturize and gently exfoliate makes them an ancient remedy with a bright future.

The seamud used for this soap are originates from marine clays collected off Chausey Islands in the Mount Saint Michel Bay in France.

This bay has the largest tides in the world. The seamud from Mount St Michel is high grade and loaded with trace elements.This soap eliminates dead cells cleans deeply and softens the skin in a natural way

Sea and Seaweed

The Sea........it's an irrefutable scientific truth each one of us is essentially a marine creature. Sea water covers nearly 80% of the earth's surface, marine elements are therefore absolutely indispensable for our biological equilibrium. The sea is our source of life and contains undisputed healing & vital elements sea water, seaweed, seamud and plankton contain an abundance of mineral components such as mineral salts, oligo elements, amino acids, vitamins and chlorophyll

Only the seaweed (red algae floridae) on contact with water, swells a little and takes on a slightly rough feel, like a loofa.. this lead to a pleasant massaging and kneading effect, which ensures a perfect exfoliating and cleansing action. The loofa soap helps to stimulate circulation and softens the skin, while eliminating dead cells.
